为什么命名为12?

原因很简单，因为传统的一箱750ml葡萄酒有12瓶（当然，6个大酒瓶或者24个半瓶不算在内)，而且你在12始终能比别处更便宜地买到它们！更重要的是，当我们随着岁月的流逝越来越喜欢葡萄酒，我们会主动寻找朋友（和陌生人），以集资的方式在12's或其代理处购买葡萄酒。通过这一不同寻常的过程，我们能与一群都有相同爱好的人建立长期的友谊 -- 这个爱好就是葡萄酒。

作为一个供葡萄酒爱好者聚会并分享其关于酒的笔记和体验的社区，这正是我们12Bottles想要提供的体验。希望通过这个网站，你将遇到某个与你分享一箱酒的人。

Why 12?

Simply because there are 12 bottles in a traditional case of 750ml wine (save for, of course, the 6 magnums or 24 half-bottles) and it is always cheaper if you buy them in 12’s! But more importantly, as we grew increasingly fond of wine over the years, we actively tried to find friends (and strangers) to collectively chip-in and buy wine in 12’s (or factors of). Through this extraordinary process, we were able to forged long-lasting friendships with a group of people who all share a similar passion: Wine.

And that is the same experience we want to offer here at 12Bottles - a community where a group of wine enthusiasts can meet and share their wine notes and experiences. Hopefully, through this site, you will meet someone to also share a case of wine with you.
